Argentina vs. Ecuador - in a lack luster Friendly Argentina defeated Ecuador by 1-0.

The Argentinians found victory thanks to a first half goal by Angel de Maria, the argentinian striker was able to finish a pass from Acuna to give the world champions the first half lead.

Argentina controlled most of the game with Ecuador showing a significant inability to find the  net.

Messi entered the game in the second half and was unable to impact the game in any meaningful way, except for the fans excitement in the stands.

Both teams are preparing for the upcoming Copa America which starts the 20th of June when Argentina faces Canada in the opening game.
