Broward College

I had the pleasure or perhaps the displeasure of going to the safety office at Broward College today. I politely asked the young lady at the desk that I wished to renew my parking decal. She looked at me and before I could say another word told me to come back next year that she could not help me. I explained to her that I just seen someone with a new decal, and why could she not help me! after a few seconds she than said oh if you are a returning studen than you may renew your Decal. I do wonder how many students were turned away because of their desire to not help the public. After that I had a few other questions but I was made to feel like they did not wish to help. So I left, I left feeling that people that are here to serve the student body, act as if they are doing us a favor. I am so sorry you are not happy with your job, I am sorry that Speaking to me is not as entertaining as speaking with the BSO liason officer who was at the office. I work in customer service and a few lessons in manners and just plain respect would not help the performance of this department. If a customer is speaking to you please give them your full attention It would not hurt to make eye contact. Its always polite to introduce your self and give your name. Never assume anything. Find out the facts before you make uninformed desicions. And above all be polite .... Thanks ... For Your Help ...
